Summer Adventure 2024 - Part 13 - Anthem of the Seas - Flam
Hi Everyone, Welcome to our day in Flam! Today is a beautiful day, and Flam certainly looks to be the highlight of our time in Norway. After enjoying a fantastic breakfast in the main dining room, we enjoy the pool and hot tub facilities whilst most people are off the ship exploring. We had a quick sandwich for lunch after a relaxing morning, before venturing out to see what Flam had to offer. After getting some photos with the ship in Flam, we paid a visit to the Flam Railway Museum. This was a fun and interesting museum to visit, and was a nice way to spend time in Flam. We admired the vintage train outside and had a look in the picturesque shops around the harbour. Emily had some fun in the local play park, and we enjoyed sharing a waffle with local ice cream. it was delicious! Back on board we enjoyed the sail away from Flam, and saw some breathtaking scenery as we travelled along the Fjords on our journey South. We loved our visit to Flam, and would probably try to include this port should we travel to the fjords in future. Afterwards we have dinner in the main dining room before watching the evening entertainment on board. We are very much looking forward to a restful sea day after three back to back port days on board Anthem of the Seas.
