Episode 3: Cruising The Great Lakes With American Cruise Lines - Days 1-3
This is episode #3 of my series of travel videos about cruising the Great Lakes with American Cruise Lines. In this episode, I cover the first three days of my journey, starting with my flight out of Southeastern Washington to Buffalo, New York. I share my experience staying at the Hyatt Regency in downtown Buffalo and explain why adding an extra pre-cruise hotel night is a absolute must—not only to explore the city, but to give yourself a safety cushion in case of flight delays or lost luggage. During my free day in Buffalo, I explored Canalside, got my first look at American Patriot docked near the Erie Basin Marina, and had a terrifying incident where I accidentally left my $1,500 drone in a public restroom for about a half hour! The video concluded with our first official excursion: a visit to the American side of Niagara Falls, including a ride aboard the fully electric Maid of the Mist boat right up to the base of the falls!
