MARELLA DISCOVERY 2 | Total Solar Eclipse 2026 special at Sea
On 12th August 2026 I was on a solo cruise aboard Marella Discovery 2 cruising in the Mediterranean from Palamos, Spain, when we witnessed a Total Solar Eclipse at Sea. It is one of the most awesome things I have ever seen. I would say once in a lifetime, but now I've discovered you can see eclipses by cruise ship I think I'll become an Eclipse Chaser!! Oh and just for a bonus we then saw a partial eclipse sunset at sea, which I think probably will be a once in a lifetime event! In this special episode I take you through our evening on the ship for this spectacular natural wonder. Its not going to be the best quality video of the eclipse you'll see, there are Astronomers with far better cameras than mine to do that.
