Summer Adventure 2024 - Part 7 - MSC Virtuosa - Sea Day 1080WebShareName
HI everyone, Today is the last day of the cruise as we make the journey back to Southampton. This was a relaxing sea day for us giving us time to recuperate after three port days. After chilling and enjoying the view of the sea from our balcony cabin, we ventured to the main dining room for a sea day brunch. This was amazing, and the best breakfast experience we have had on sea so far. I am sure there is somewhere else that will top it! If you have a favourite Bruch at sea let us know about it in the comments section and we will try and visit at some point. Afterwards Emily visited the kids club for the first time in this cruise. She really enjoyed the kids club and said it was her favourite so far. She much preferred it to the Royal Caribbean kids club later in this holiday, which she felt was too regimented. We also had a look at the F1 display of famous race outfits just outside the kids club area. As fans of F1 we really enjoyed this little touch. We didn't get the chance to enjoy the F1 simulator but will try it out should we have a longer cruise on board another time. Afterwards we show today's purchases from the shops on board. Emily purchased the MSC captains doll for £17.99 which came with a selection of outfits. Tracy chose a pair of Couer dw Lion earrings which had 20% off costing £44. This was a great offer and the earrings are stunning. The prices were very favourable compared to other cruise lines that we have been on. Dinner was in the main dining room tonight, and it was Italian night. The food was good and the lasagne was delicious. Afterwards we went to see the premier of the new Michael Jackson show on the ship, and again the entertainment was fantastic. this is definitely another area where the Virtuosa excels. We then watched the projection show in the galleria, before enjoying some tasty gelato to complete our day on board. We really enjoyed our time on board. MSC is a fantastic ship and there is a lot to love about it. It may not have had our favourite dining menus in the evening but everything else was great. We look forward to revisiting MSC in 2027.
