Summer Adventure 2024 - Part 3 - MSC Virtuosa - Embarkation Day
Hi everyone! Welcome to our embarkation day vlog onboard the MSC Virtuosa. This is the first time that we have done a cruise that was not P & O and there is a huge difference between the Virtuosa and the cruise ships we have sailed on previously. We immediately noticed the bling and wow factor that MSC have put into this ship. We start off by going up to the pool deck, relaxing on the pool sun loungers as the sun is shining in Southampton. Afterwards we go for a tour of the buffet area, showcasing the lunchtime food selections. Unlike other cruises, the lunch buffet was not too crowded at this time, although we had other plans for lunch today. After exploring the ship further we headed to Hola Tacos for some great Mexican food. We would certainly recommend this dining location if you enjoy Mexican cuisine, and we enjoyed the tacos and nachos here. Hola is so good it was even the deciding factor for Emily when booking a future MSC cruise. Afterwards we give a quick tour of our balcony cabin, showing the nice spacious modern layout. We really enjoyed this cabin as it was our first ever balcony cabin. After this we explore the outdoor areas on the ship, taking a walk round the promenade and being back up on the higher decks to catch the sail away from Southampton. We then head back to the room to get ready for dinner. We had a nice first meal onboard and service was excellent throughout the cruise. Following dinner, we do a little bit more exploring of the ship before having a taste of the famous MSC pizza after which we call it a night and head to bed,
