We Explored Sitka, Alaska Without a Cruise Ship Excursion and had an Amazing Day!
Come along with us as we explore Sitka, Alaska. After a short shuttle ride from the ship into town we walked about 25 minutes to the Alaska Raptor Center where we were able to see several species of raptor - including bald eagles up close and personal. Afterwards we strolled through the Sitka National Historical Park which has some very tall Totem poles scattered along the trails. Then we headed into town for some delicious crab rolls from the Red Herring food truck. We wrapped up the day checking out some local shops.
