Why Princess Cruises is Betting BIG on Western Australia
Princess Cruises has just announced a major move — Sapphire Princess will home port in Fremantle, Western Australia from 2027! At a time when many cruise lines are reducing their presence in Australia, WA is proving what’s possible when governments actively invest in cruising. In this video, I break down why Princess Cruises is betting big on WA, what it means for the future of Australian cruising, and how Sapphire Princess could reshape itineraries across the west coast. Are you excited for the return of home port cruising to WA? Where would you like to see ships sailing from next?
