Food and Dining Review - Fred Olsen Balmoral–Traditional… But Is It Enough?
We sailed for 7 nights onboard Fred. Olsen’s Balmoral and in this video we share an honest review of the food and dining experience onboard. If you are considering a Balmoral cruise and want to know what the food is really like, this video will show you the main dining rooms, the buffet, the menus, and the speciality dining option. During our cruise we tried breakfast, lunch and dinner and filmed what was available in each venue. We also share what we thought of the quality of the food, the portion sizes, the service, and how much choice there is onboard, including for pescetarians and anyone with dietary preferences. Balmoral is a smaller, more traditional cruise ship and dining is very much classic cruise style, with fixed dining sittings in the main restaurants. In this video we cover the Ballindalloch Restaurant on Deck 6, the Spey and Avon Restaurants on Deck 10, the Thistle buffet restaurant on Deck 7, and Colours & Tastes, Balmoral’s speciality dining venue. If you are wondering whether the food on Fred. Olsen Balmoral is good, whether the buffet is worth using, or how it compares to other Fred. Olsen ships such as Borealis, this video will help you decide. Watch next: Fred. Olsen Borealis Food Review (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qSkp3WweT7k&t=387s) Thanks for watching and safe travels.
