Is Rhyl Worth Visiting In 2026? Check out our honest review. Join us as we return to Rhyl in 2026 to see whether this famous North Wales seaside town is really worth visiting this year! From the huge sandy beach and seafront to the town centre, promenade and local attractions, we take an honest look at what Rhyl is like right now. It's been a year since we visited Rhyl last, and we have to say, last time we were there, it looked like it was cleaner and had a lot more about it, but there was still a lot of construction, especially of the sea wall defences and area where the old sea life centre was. Rhyl has changed a lot over the years, but is it finally making a comeback? We explore the coastline, check out the latest developments and share our genuine thoughts on whether Rhyl deserves a place on your UK travel list in 2026. As always, we are 100% as we bring you this honest review. In this Rhyl vlog, we start off at the Marine Lake, where they have actually painted the signs - something we've been asking for for the last few years, so big bonus points there. We took a ride on the mini steam train which was brilliant. We had a stroll to the nature reserve which was looking beautiful, as was the promenade. It was just a shame that there were not many people there this day, which was a sunny Sunday in early May. We stopped off in the new Queens Market Food Hall, which, despite looking like a garage, the food was excellent. Next, we headed off down the prom and beach towards the famous clock and theatre, stopping off to take a look at the lifeboat. We had to check out our favourite Rhyl graffiti. We then took a walk into town but unfortunately, it started to go a bit downhill from there, but watch the vlog to see what we thought of this area of Rhyl.
