Welcome to this Our First Time on Marella Discovery 2 Was It Worth It? cruise vlog where we embark the beautiful Marella Discovery 2 in Palma de Mallorca as part of the Jewels of the Mediterranean cruise. We have been on both the Marella Explorer and the Marella Explorer 2 in the past, but this was our first time on Marella Discovery 2, but was it worth it, would we enjoy the ship as much as the Marella Explorer cruise ships and how would the week pan out. This is the first of our Marella Discovery 2 vlogs and in this diary vlog, we embark the Marella Discovery 2, then have a sea day, then arrive in one of our favourite places, Olbia in Sardinia. The fact that the Marella Discovery 2 was visiting Olbia, Sardinia was one of the main reasons for booking the Jewels of the Mediterranean cruise onboard the Marella Discovery 2. In this Marella Discovery 2 vlog, we take you through the first three days of the cruise, taking you on a tour around the Marella Discovery 2 and showing what you can do on a sea day as well as things to do in Olbia, Sardinia. In this case, we visited our favourite beach bar, Rock and Beach in Marre Rocce just outside of Olbia. Spoiler alert, we loved this ship and can't wait to show you the whole series where we check out everything to do with the ship, the best places to drink, the best places to eat, the entertainment and theatre shows, the shopping and everything else you associate with a great cruise with Marella Cruises.
