Is Norwegian Cruise Line Priority Access worth the extra money? We paid about $100 per person ($200 total) on our 10-day cruise from Boston and tested it at all three points: boarding day, a tender port in Bar Harbor, Maine, and getting off the ship. In this NCL Priority Access review: • How much time it saved us at check-in in Boston (30–45+ minutes) • What it does NOT skip (security) • Tendering in Bar Harbor with priority, compared with our Cabo San Lucas tender on the Norwegian Bliss • Priority getting off the ship compared with self-assist • The $50 spa credit that brings the real cost down • Our final verdict: who should buy it and who should skip it Good to know: everyone in your stateroom has to buy it. It's all or nothing. Our take: it's worth it if your trip has a lot of tender ports (Cabo, St. Thomas, the Virgin Islands).
