The Travel Service that made our Honeymoon so much easier! #DisabilityTravel
One of the things I didn't realise would make such a difference on our honeymoon was the door-to-door travel service. (ad - pr trip) When we booked our cruise with @LimitlessTravelOfficial an accessible minibus picked us up from home, took us to the port, and then brought us back home again afterwards. As a wheelchair user, travel days can be one of the most exhausting parts of a trip. Normally we'd need to pack the car, work out how to fit luggage and mobility aids into the available space, drive to the port, find accessible parking, and then do it all again at the end of the holiday. Instead, everything was taken care of. It meant we could bring everything we needed without worrying about space, including multiple mobility aids, and we didn't have to think about parking or navigating a busy port. This footage is actually from our journey home. After a week away, we were tired, we had lots of luggage, and the last thing either of us wanted to do was drive for hours. Instead, we could just relax, enjoy the journey, stop whenever we needed to, and arrive home without adding extra stress to the end of the holiday. It's one of those little details that ended up making a much bigger difference than I expected. What's the most stressful part of travel for you?
