We have just 3 months left to complete my 30 new things in my 30th year challenge! This update covers numbers 14–19, and they’ve been some of the most memorable yet: 14. A last-minute Mediterranean cruise with @LimitlessTravelOfficial (pr trip) – my first time away without my usual support. It felt scary, spontaneous and independent, but I’m so glad I braved it. 15. Visiting my first accessible beach in Cala Major, Mallorca. Thanks to a beach wheelchair I could finally roll onto the sand and into the sea with ease. Honestly one of the best days ever. 16. My first professional radio appearance on BBC Radio London with @EddieNestor. We talked about my viral curb cut video, disability education, and the tough questions non-disabled people need to ask. Nervous at first, but I slipped straight back into the radio rhythm from my student radio days. 17. My very first red carpet at the Downton Abbey: Grand Finale premiere. Fast-paced, glamorous, and surreal. 18. Dancing on a West End stage at Regent’s Park Open Air Theatre with the cast of Brigadoon for @KatieAnna.McConnell’s West End on Wheels. I used to dance a lot pre-disability, so being thrown back in as a wheelchair user on that stage was magical. 19. Joining the protest for my friend @DaisyLouiseSimpson. Using my voice to speak up about disability housing felt vital, especially knowing Daisy still doesn’t have a safe place to live or to recover from surgery. Her major brain surgery is next week and she has a GoFundMe running to get the support she urgently needs. You can find out more here https://www.hope-4-daisy.com/ if you're able to help. (And I accidentally added a much less fun new thing yesterday… my first CT scan. Not one I’d recommend for anyone’s bucket list!) There’s more to come with a dream collab and a surprise girls weekend away coming very soon, but I still have 8 things left to tick off before the end of the year! So tell me: what should I add to the list and could you leave some words of encouragement in the comments to help me power through to the finish line? #30for30Challenge #DisabilityAwareness #30for30 #BucketList #ChronicallyJenni Thanks so much for watching!
