What’s an accessible cabin on a cruise ship really like? Here’s a quick tour of our balcony cabin C447 on P&O Britannia. From a spacious bathroom with a folding shower bench, to a pull-down wardrobe and even a fridge for medication, it had so many thoughtful features. My favourite of all was the balcony door, which had a ramp that flipped down when opened so there was no threshold to contend with something I’d never seen before. It wasn’t perfect: the balcony was long and narrow so bigger chairs might struggle, and the only charging ports were across the room from the bed, so long wires or an extension are essential. But overall it’s one of the most accessible cabins I’ve stayed in, and it really made a difference to our holiday. Want the full detailed room tour? There's a link in stories!
