The Main River flows through Würzburg, a city renowned for its opulent Baroque architecture, including the Archbishop's Palace, churches, and the City Hall. Würzburg Residence, a pinnacle of German Baroque art, is the city's most famous landmark. St. Kilian's Cathedral, the fourth largest Roman church in Germany, is the city's religious center. The St Mary's Chapel, resembling an exquisite Gothic sculpture, sits in the city center square. Neumünster Cathedral is a magnificent and exquisite Baroque church.
