Next destination on my Australian solo adventure was the fabulous city of Sydney in New South Wales. I was staying here for 3 nights before boarding my cruise and decided to explore by day and enjoy the weekend nightlife. If you're looking for things to do in Sydney or where to stay then this is the travel vlog for you. Flying in I got my first views of the iconic Sydney Harbour Bridge and Sydney Opera House. I would see a lot more of them this weekend. I chose to stay in Darling Bay at the Sofitel Sydney Darling Bay Hotel and went out for the first couple of evenings at Cockle Bay Wharf. And after a first day of travel my second day involved a long walk all around the coastal path from Darling Bay to Barangaroo, round to the bridge and The Rocks, where there's a weekend market. For the Cruise fans there's a look at Sydney's Overseas Passenger Terminal, where the Princess Cruises cruise ship Crown Princess was boarding today... a taster of my own Princess Cruise coming in a couple of episodes time! Then it was on past Circular Quay and the Sydney Opera House into the Botanical Gardens and round to Mrs Macquirie's Point for the ultimate Sydney skyline view. And we round off the first part of this long weekend of fun and exploring with fireworks in Darling Bay. But there's more to come from Sydney in part 2....
