Carnival Donates Shoes
I discuss Carnival Cruise Line's new program with Sneaker Impact to recycle nearly 50,000 pairs of discarded shoes left by passengers annually. As a lawyer who sues Carnival, I highlight the irony: while they recycle shoes, they aggressively pursue passengers for destruction of evidence if shoes are lost or disposed of after a slip and fall.
