I Tried to Visit Villa Vie… and Got Turned Away
I recently had the opportunity to visit the Villa Vie Odyssey while it was in Melbourne — or at least, I tried to. After being invited by Villa Vie Residences, I submitted my details and followed the process… but what followed was weeks of no communication, repeated follow-ups, and a very unexpected outcome. In this video, I share my full experience — from the initial invitation in January through to March when the ship arrived in Melbourne, and why I ultimately didn’t get the chance to step onboard. To be fair, I was genuinely interested in the concept of residential cruising — living and travelling full-time on a ship — and this is something I could see myself considering in the future. But this experience raised some questions around communication and organisation.
