Midlife Cruising and more LEAVING Villa Vie Odyssey - will this be the sinking of Villa Vie?
Midlife Cruising shocked the cruise community with their announcement that they’ve left the Villa Vie Odyssey — the world’s first residential cruise ship. If you enjoy this video please support my channel with a Super Thanks, like or subscribe! In this video, I react to Steve and Angela’s emotional farewell and explore what their departure, along with writer Joe Rhodes’ upcoming exit, could mean for the future of Villa Vie Residences. As one of the most high-profile couples onboard, Midlife Cruising helped promote the ship and inspired many people to join the Villa Vie lifestyle. But behind the smiles, comments and quotes suggest growing tension between residents, management, and content creators. From non-disparagement agreements to talk of “losing joy” and “feeling unappreciated,” this video takes a closer look at what might really be happening onboard. I also share my thoughts as someone who has followed the Villa Vie project from the start — and what this could mean for anyone thinking about buying or renting a cabin. If you’re interested in cruise life, full-time travel, or the dream of living at sea, don’t miss this honest breakdown of one of the biggest stories in the cruise world right now.
