MELBOURNE | Get out of the centre | St Kilda & Shrine of Remembrance | Part 2/2
Its the second half of my stay in Melbourne, Victoria, where I'm spending 3 nights at the Brady Hotels Jones Lane. This time I catch the tram out to St Kilda Beach, home to Luna Park, and enjoy a walk at the seaside. Then I visit the Shrine of Remembrance, both a memorial to Australian and New Zealand soldiers of all wars, but also a war museum. It has a rooftop terrace with an excellent view of the Melbourne skyline too. In the evening I return to the Southbank of the Yarra River for dinner and drinks and to enjoy the bright lights of Melbourne after dark A couple of days in this city was not really long enough, but it has given me an excuse to come back some day. But my trip ended at Melbourne's airport as I headed onto my next destination, Sydney....
