I discuss a man overboard alert that occurred on the MSC Seashore cruise ship during the night. The ship initiated full emergency protocol—slowing down, stopping, turning around, and deploying lifeboats while crew reviewed infrared surveillance footage. All passengers were confined to their cabins as crew conducted a cabin-by-cabin census to identify who was missing. After about an hour of investigation, it was determined to be a false alarm with no one actually missing.
