Crew member seriously injured

I report on a serious cruise accident off the coast of Spetses, Greece, where a 43-year-old Filipino crew member fell from the ship, sustaining severe head and spinal injuries. He is in critical care at a shore-side hospital, and Greek authorities are investigating. I discuss the harsh working conditions for crew members—long hours, low pay, and dangerous situations—and how cruise lines limit their rights through restrictive contracts that often force arbitration with arbitrators appointed by the cruise lines.
