🍺 I FOUND THE PERFECT CRAFT BREWERY FOR A CRUISE PASSENGER! 🇯🇵 Welcome back to The Boozy Cruiser! While visiting Kochi, Japan, I discovered a craft brewery that feels like it was made for anyone who loves cruising, great beer, great food and meeting fantastic people! Join me at SOUTH HORIZON BREWING, located right near the Kochi New Port cruise terminal, where I meet Head Brewer Kengo Ito, my guide to all things beer. Kengo takes me behind the scenes on a guided tour of the brewery and explains how South Horizon’s beers are made. And things get even better when I get to taste Pacifica Common straight from the vat! 🍺 Then it’s time to sit down with Kengo and sample four South Horizon beers, with him explaining the story, ingredients and character behind each one. And because beer tasting works even better with food… I also tuck into an amazing Japanese beef burger! 🍔🇯🇵 What really stood out to me was the team at South Horizon. The brewery is just a short walk from the Kochi cruise ship terminal, making it a fantastic option if you’re visiting Kochi on a cruise and want to experience something local without spending the whole day travelling. The brewery also offers factory/brewery tours, subject to brewing schedules and availability. Advance contact is recommended, and factory tours are not available on weekends and public holidays.
