Celebrity Cruises just raised cruise gratuities again. Starting July 29, 2026, Celebrity Cruises daily gratuity rates are going up $1.50 across every stateroom category on every Celebrity Cruises cruise ship. In this video I break down the new Celebrity Cruises gratuity rates, show you how to prepay your cruise gratuities at the OLD cruise gratuity rate if you already have a Celebrity cruise booked, and dig into the bigger story: nearly every major cruise line has raised gratuities in 2026: Carnival Cruise Line, MSC Cruises, Princess Cruises, Holland America Line, Margaritaville at Sea, and now Celebrity Cruises. But here's the real question: when a cruise line raises gratuities, does the hardworking crew actually see that money or do these increases just push more cruisers to remove gratuities at guest services? We're talking about how cruise gratuities really work, what removing gratuities does to the crew, and what I personally do about tipping on every cruise I take. 💬 Do you remove gratuities?
