I discuss a major incident where five passengers were arrested for carrying large quantities of illicit drugs aboard Royal Caribbean's Symphony of the Seas during the world's biggest gay cruise departing from Miami. Customs and Border Protection discovered the substances during a routine drug-sniffing dog search of passenger bags. While this incident isn't exclusive to gay cruises, I highlight that it's not the first time such occurrences have happened on specialty cruises.
