Pre-Cruise Hotel Tour: The Sound Hotel Seattle Belltown

Room tour time. As always, we're big Hilton fans, and my husband outdid himself this time — we stayed at The Sound Hotel Seattle Belltown, a Hilton Tapestry Collection property. One thing about this collection that always impresses me: how clean and beautiful the lines are. It's inviting from the moment you walk in. It does have a signature scent that isn't overwhelming — I like mentioning that for anyone sensitive to smells. Fun fact: it's the same scent used at Disney's Yacht and Beach Club Resorts. Hint, hint. They have a rooftop spot on the seventh floor called The Sound Bites, with games, a beautiful view, and an amazing bartender named Michael. If you're looking for a great place to stay before your Alaska cruise, this is it — a 14-minute walk to the Space Needle or the Glass Garden, and 9 minutes to Pike Place Market.
