We're coming to you from the beautiful Majestic Princess as we begin the transatlantic portion of our journey from Southampton to New York! Our Let's Go! Family had our first sea-day Meet & Greet, and Allison shares some of the incredibly thoughtful gifts members of our group made for everyone. We're off to a splendid start, with Norway, Iceland, Halifax and New York still ahead of us. We also have some Princess news that may make charging your phone beside the bed MUCH easier! Here on Majestic Princess, our cabin lamps don't have charging ports in their bases. But we've learned that Island Princess now has updated lamp bases with both USB and USB-C charging ports. Since we'll be boarding Island Princess October 6 for our Grand Mediterranean Odyssey, we'll show you exactly what they look like when we get onboard. Allison also talks about the recent heavy rain in Florence, Italy, where water from a leaking skylight reached the glass case protecting Caravaggio's Bacchus at the Uffizi Gallery. The painting was not harmed, but the story gave Allison an important reminder: the places we dream about seeing may not always remain exactly as they are today. What's on YOUR travel bucket list?
