Good morning from a soggy St. John’s! We didn’t think we’d get two days here, but a storm and a captain with a heavy foot on the throttle gave us a bonus day, and we made the most of it. With Jill’s aunt and uncle as our private tour guides, we battle winds on Signal Hill that nearly knock us over (visibility: zero), wander the colourful streets and artisans’ shops, and visit the fishing village of Petty Harbour for an authentic Newfoundland lunch.
