Is the Volendam Sea Day Brunch Worth It? Plus Surf & Turf Upgrade & St. John’s Sail-In
We made it! After a night at full speed with a storm chasing us up the coast, the Volendam slipped into St. John’s Harbour early, just ahead of the weather. Today we try Holland America’s first-ever Sea Day Brunch with Broadway hits (it took an hour and a half, and we’re honest about how it went), then spend a lazy afternoon in the hot tubs with some Canucklings and Jerry meets the buffet’s meatballs. Then the main event: threading the narrow entrance into one of the most protected harbours in the world, past colourful Jelly Bean Row, while being politely asked to come back inside by an officer.
