Planning a Mykonos cruise stop with kids? Instead of booking an expensive excursion, our family of six took the water taxi into Mykonos Town, walked through the beautiful whitewashed streets, caught a local bus to Ornos Beach, and rented a cabana for just €80. We spent several hours enjoying one of Mykonos' beautiful beaches, with easy access to beach chairs, umbrellas, food, restaurants, and bathrooms. Then we took the bus back to Mykonos Town and still had plenty of time to explore the famous windmills, walk along the waterfront, shop, eat lunch, and experience this incredible Greek island before returning to our cruise ship. And here's the part we didn't expect… We had heard over and over that Mykonos was a party island and wasn't particularly kid-friendly. Our kids ended up LOVING it — and Mykonos was one of their favorite stops on our cruise!
