CRUISE NEWS! Princess Website Problems! Excursion Glitch, Packages & Dining Update!
We have several important Princess Cruises website and app updates for you today — including a frustrating excursion problem and the workaround Gordon figured out! If the Princess Chat button is covering the Cancel button for your final excursion, you may find that you simply cannot click it. We show you how to use your keyboard to get around the problem and cancel the excursion without having to call Princess. We are also seeing some other changes and problems you should know about: • Dining reservations are beginning to appear alongside excursions in the Princess planner on some of our cruises. This can be really helpful for spotting conflicts between excursions and dining reservations. • Don't rely solely on the Princess app to determine which excursions you have booked. If there is a discrepancy, Allison recommends checking your Booking Summary. • Princess now calls what used to be the Travel Summary the Booking Summary, and Allison explains where to find it. • We have also noticed that information for the Princess Plus and Premier packages appears to be flipped on a Princess webpage, so pay careful attention to what you are purchasing. • And remember that the Plus Beverage Package and Princess Plus package are not the same thing — likewise for the Premier Beverage Package and Princess Premier.
