White Cliffs of Dover Hike from St Margaret's Bay | DIY Cruise Port Adventure
Looking for the best things to do from the Dover cruise port? We hiked the White Cliffs of Dover on our own, starting at St Margaret's Bay and following the spectacular coastal route past South Foreland Lighthouse toward Dover, England. Instead of booking a traditional Dover shore excursion, we created our own DIY cruise port adventure. From our cruise ship in Dover, we used local transportation to reach St Margaret's Bay, then set out on foot for one of England's most iconic coastal experiences. Along the way you'll see dramatic chalk cliffs, sweeping English Channel views, the historic South Foreland Lighthouse, beautiful countryside, Dover Harbour and unforgettable views along the White Cliffs of Dover.
