Looking for the best DIY Bonaire cruise port excursion? Join us as we visit Klein Bonaire and beautiful No Name Beach completely on our own using the water taxi from Kralendijk. Instead of booking a cruise ship shore excursion, we walked from the Bonaire cruise port to Karel's Beach Bar and caught the water taxi to Klein Bonaire. We use the Relive app to show our walking route, distance and travel time so other cruise passengers can see how we did this independent Bonaire beach day. Klein Bonaire is an uninhabited island just offshore from Kralendijk and is famous for No Name Beach, brilliant turquoise water, white sand and excellent snorkeling. The island has very limited facilities, so visitors should plan ahead and bring what they need for their beach day. Klein Bonaire is especially well known for drift snorkeling along the reef. We planned to snorkel during our visit, but strong wind and rougher conditions changed our plans.
