This Famous Canal Is Absolute CHAOS!
This week, narrowboat life on the Llangollen Canal is getting BUSY! 😂🏴☠️ I’m cruising from Whitehouse Tunnel towards Froncysyllte, just before the incredible Pontcysyllte Aqueduct — and it seems everyone else has had exactly the same idea. There are narrowboats, hire boats, canoes and kayaks everywhere, and somewhere amongst all that chaos I need to squeeze in and fill the water tank! 😂 I originally came onto the Llangollen Canal last November to spend the winter here, but after the huge breach at Whitchurch cut us off from the rest of the canal network, I’m now on day 246 of being marooned! But if you’re going to be stuck somewhere, this really isn’t a bad place to be. We also leave the boat behind for the day, cross the aqueduct on foot and head up into the Welsh hills along part of Offa’s Dyke Path and the Panorama Walk. The views are absolutely breathtaking. My thighs, however, have a rather different review. 😂 And there’s some exciting news away from the boat too — my campervan has SOLD, which means the hunt for my next adventure wagon can finally begin. 🚐 So grab a brew — or something stronger 🥃 — and join me, Bonny and Gabby for another week of cruising, chaos and life aboard the Jolly Roger. ------------ Thank you so much for watching.
