A Soaked Narrowboat Cruise… What Happened to the Boat That Started It All?
After gale force winds brought my travels to a standstill in the last vlog… I finally get moving again — but I’m racing against time. With urgent repair works due to start on the locks, I had a narrow window to get through before potential closures. What followed was one of the wettest cruises I’ve had in a long time — torrential rain, soaked ropes, and a very soggy journey towards Whittington Wharf. But this trip wasn’t just about beating the weather… or the repairs. Once moored, I share a big personal update — the boat that started this entire YouTube channel has now been sold. Before she left, I went back to get her ready for market, and it gave me time to reflect on just how much that boat — and this life — has changed everything. From storm cruising to full-circle moments… this one’s a mix of chaos, nostalgia, and gratitude.
