Disney Magic Cartagena Excursion CHAOS! 🇨🇴 (Massive Lines & Rushed Tours)
Did we actually make it back to the Disney Magic before it sailed away?! 🚢🇨🇴 Welcome back to the channel for Day 6 of our 14-Night Panama Canal Cruise! Today, we finally docked in Cartagena, Colombia, and headed out on our official Disney Cruise Line port excursion. We were so excited to explore, but things felt a bit rushed from the very start. After a delayed departure from the Walt Disney Theater, our time in the city became an absolute race against the clock! Even with the rush, Cartagena is a beautiful, historic city. We managed to get a quick look at the San Felipe Fortress, the stunning San Pedro Church, and we even explored the historic Inquisition Museum (complete with the actual torture chambers!). It is an incredible place, but when it was time to head back, the queues to board the ship were the longest we have ever experienced. It was so boiling hot they were literally handing out cold towels on the dock! 🥵 Thankfully, the evening back on the ship completely saved the day! We cooled off at the Mickey & Friends Dance Party, grabbed some exclusive Cove Cafe mugs, and headed down to Animator's Palate for dinner. Anthony and I tried the amazing Indian menu (which was absolutely brilliant), while Matilda enjoyed her favorite cod and chicken noodle soup.
