Transiting the Panama Canal on the Disney Magic! 🚢 (Full Day Vlog) - DONT MAKE THIS MISTAKE
Did we secure the best spot for the massive Panama Canal transit on the Disney Magic?! 🚢✨ Welcome back to the Ohana of 3 channel! Today is the absolute highlight of our 14-night Disney Cruise: Panama Canal Day! Anthony headed up to Deck 10 before 6:00 AM to grab us the perfect viewing spot as the Disney Magic sailed under the Atlantic Bridge and approached our very first lock, the Agua Clara lock. Transiting the canal is an incredible, bucket-list experience, but we definitely didn't expect the massive swing in the tropical rainforest weather. We spent the morning spotting incredible wildlife right from the top deck—including wild capybaras, birds circling for fish, and even an alligator—before the sky turned completely black and a torrential tropical rainstorm sent us running for cover! Once the weather cleared, we sailed through the Cocoli locks, passed the stunning Bridge of the Americas, and took in the massive contrast between the dense jungle and the modern Panama City skyline. It is a long, awe-inspiring day on the ship, so of course, we packed it with amazing Disney dining. We stopped by Rapunzel's for both a sit-down lunch and dinner. The dinner service featured the exclusive Marvel Day at Sea menu, where Anthony and I went for the beef tenderloin while Matilda enjoyed her soba noodles and rocky road sundae.
