I Almost SKIPPED This on Freedom of the Seas…Then It Became My Favorite Sea Day
Our second sea day on Royal Caribbean’s Freedom of the Seas ended up being one of my favorite days of the entire cruise. I almost skipped Sip, Tour, Brunch, and I’m SO glad I didn’t. The experience started with champagne, mimosas, and orange juice before taking us behind the scenes into the ship’s galley to see how thousands of meals are prepared every day. After the tour, we sat down for brunch, and everything I ordered was amazing, especially the roasted chicken. After brunch, we slowed things down and spent time around the ship, watched the pirate-themed entertainment on the Royal Promenade, hung out on the sports deck, played mini golf, and just enjoyed a proper sea day without rushing anywhere. One of my favorite parts was simply sitting outside, watching the ocean go by, and eventually catching a beautiful sunset from the top deck. For dinner, we kept things casual and grabbed food from the Windjammer so we could take it back to the room, relax, watch TV, and have a lazy evening before I made one last stop at the casino to work on my Royal Caribbean points.
