Our ONLY Sea Day on Legend of the Seas — We Found the PERFECT Spot!
It’s our ONLY sea day aboard the brand-new Legend of the Seas, and we’re spending it the best way we know how — soaking up the Mediterranean from one of our favorite spots on the entire ship! We start the day in the adults-only Hideaway, where the views absolutely stole the show. Open ocean, massive sailboats, yachts passing by, and the Mediterranean coastline and mountains in the distance made this one of the most memorable sea days we’ve ever had. Plus, the Hideaway has a completely different vibe here in the Mediterranean — still fun, still plenty of music, but much more relaxed than what we’ve experienced in the Caribbean. Then it’s time for one of our Royal Caribbean must-dos: Chops Grille! We’re taking you along for dinner, sharing what we ordered, and letting you know why this specialty restaurant continues to be one we book on just about every Royal Caribbean cruise. After dinner, we race over to the AquaDome for SHOCKWAVE! We’ll show you what we think are some of the BEST seats in the house — not only because of the view, but because they might be some of the most comfortable seats in the entire AquaDome. After the show, Jenn and I do a little shopping and check out some of the Mediterranean-exclusive Legend of the Seas merchandise, including some really cool inaugural-season items. Then we head into Treasure Chest, where kids literally line up before the store opens every night to get their hands on Jellycats. And somehow the night gets even better. We finish things off in the Music Hall with 27 Club — a rock band performing music from legendary artists who all passed away at the age of 27, including Janis Joplin, Nirvana and The Doors. They quickly became one of our FAVORITE bands we’ve ever seen aboard a cruise ship. This was one heck of a sea day!
