Thinking about booking Royal Caribbean’s **Legend of the Seas**? After spending seven nights onboard during only the ship’s **second-ever sailing**, we’re breaking down what you really need to know before you book. We’ve now sailed Icon of the Seas, Star of the Seas, and Legend of the Seas** during their inaugural seasons, so the big question for us was simple: Is Legend actually better…or is it just newer, bigger and more expensive?** In this full review, we cover our Infinite Balcony stateroom, the pools and outdoor decks, specialty and included dining, entertainment, crew and service, and what it was really like sailing an Icon Class ship on a five-port Mediterranean itinerary. We’ll also share which experiences were genuinely better on Legend, including **Hollywoodland Supper Club, Royal Railway — Legend Station, Hooked, the AquaDome show, Absolute Zero and Willy Wonka**, plus a few areas where Legend really doesn’t feel that different from Icon or Star. One of our biggest surprises was the itinerary itself. With five ports and only one sea day, we found ourselves choosing between experiencing Europe and actually having enough time to enjoy everything Legend has to offer. If you’re considering a Mediterranean sailing, that’s something we think you should seriously consider before booking. We also paid $3,240 total for our seven-night cruise in an Infinite Balcony stateroom, which we thought was an incredible value. But would we feel the same way if the cruise cost $6,000, $7,000 or more? That’s where the decision gets much more interesting. And just so there’s no confusion: **we paid for this entire trip ourselves. Royal Caribbean did not invite us or pay for this cruise.** This was our 31st cruise, and everything in this review is based on our own experience onboard. So, is Legend of the Seas worth booking? Would we sail her again? And if you’ve already sailed Icon or Star, is Legend worth paying more for? Drop anchor with us and let’s find out. Let us know in the comments: Would you sail Legend in the Mediterranean, wait until she comes to Fort Lauderdale, or save some money and book Icon or Star instead? 👍 Like the video 🔔 Subscribe and turn on notifications ⚓ Thanks for watching Ears & Anchors!
