We had a remarkable day visiting Normandy, France from Sky Princess. Our excursion took us to Sainte-Mère-Église, Arromanches and the remains of the famous Mulberry Harbor, along with the American Cemetery overlooking Omaha Beach. We've visited Normandy several times since our first trip in 2015, and this visit reminded Allison of something important: you can return to a place, but you can never truly go back. Some things have changed. Areas we once walked through are now restricted, crowds have grown, and preservation has become increasingly important. But Normandy remains one of the most moving and meaningful places we've ever visited. We also talk about the unusually dry conditions we're seeing in Europe and concerns about low river levels.
