We Caught Dinner in Remote BC | Crabbing in the Inside Passage S2-EP8 4K
We leave a remote anchorage in Lowe Inlet and cruise toward Prince Rupert, stopping in Pilsbury Cove where we drop crab traps and catch fresh Dungeness crab for dinner. 🦀 Back on the boat, we show how we clean and cook the crab before turning it into homemade crab cakes—hard to beat fresh seafood caught just hours earlier. The next day we head to Digby Island and explore Dodge Cove, a historic seaside community known for its lush gardens, immaculate landscapes, and a way of life where wheelbarrows matter more than cars. This unique island can only be reached by boat or plane. This stop is especially meaningful—Melinda grew up here and spent her summers at camp in nearby Casey Cove, making this visit a journey back to where it all began.
