Our Peaceful Cruise Turned Into a Tsunami Advisory [MV Escapade] 4K
What started as another beautiful cruising day along British Columbia's incredible coastline quickly became one we'll never forget. We depart for Fury Cove before making the crossing around Cape Caution on our way to Port McNeill. Along the way we're treated to an unforgettable encounter with a pod of orcas, explore an abandoned waterfront property, and meet fellow sailors in Port McNeill who needed a little help repairing a sail. Then, just as we were relaxing over lunch, our phones began sounding emergency alerts. A tsunami advisory had been issued, and what had been a peaceful afternoon suddenly turned into a night of watching the news, monitoring conditions, and preparing our boats in case the situation changed. Join us aboard our 47-foot Nordhavn as we continue our journey down the British Columbia coast. If you enjoy real cruising adventures, wildlife encounters, and life aboard a liveaboard trawler, we'd love to have you subscribe and co 🎵 Music All music in this video is licensed by Epidemic Sound 🚤 About Our Journey: If you love cruising life, trawlers, coastal exploration, slow travel, and authentic boating adventures, you’re in the right place.
