Sun Princess Sea Day | Is There Enough To Do?
What is there to do on a Sun Princess sea day? 🚢 We explore the ship, try Makoto Ocean, join the Princess Live! quizzes and even tackle our first ever load of washing at sea! 😂 Welcome back to our first ever Princess Cruises holiday aboard Sun Princess! Today is our second and final sea day on our seven-night Mediterranean with Greek Isles & Turkey cruise, and after our huge meal at Sabatini’s last night, breakfast definitely isn't happening! 😂 Instead, we're starting somewhere slightly less glamorous... 🧺 OUR FIRST WASH AT SEA! We're off to the self-service launderette on Deck 14. We've never actually done our own washing at sea before, so of course we're taking you with us! While the washing machine does the hard work, Gemma heads to the gym and I grab a much-needed strong coffee from Coffee Currents before exploring the ship. 🚢 EXPLORING SUN PRINCESS This isn't intended as a complete ship tour. Instead, I'm taking you around some of the venues and spaces you might discover during a sea day. We visit: ☕ Coffee Currents 🍸 Wheelhouse Bar 🥩 Crown Grill 🍽️ Eclipse Dining Room 🛍️ Shops of Princess 🍹 Bellini’s Cocktail Bar ☘️ O’Malley’s Irish Pub 🎤 Princess Live! 🍨 Gelateria 🎭 Princess Arena 🥩 The Butcher’s Block by Dario 🍸 Good Spirits at Sea 🍣 Makoto Ocean ☀️ SkyDeck Sports Court & Track 🏊 Lido Pool ✨ The Dome 🍹 Sea View Bar 🍸 Crooners ❤️ And plenty more! This is exactly why we enjoy sea days - you actually get time to slow down and explore the ship. 🍣 MAKOTO OCEAN Once Gemma finishes at the gym, it's time for something we both love... SUSHI! We head to Makoto Ocean on Deck 7, which is included for us through our Princess Premier package. And once again, another fantastic meal! ❤️🍣 We've really enjoyed being able to try so many different dining experiences during this cruise. 🧠 HOW BAD IS OUR GENERAL KNOWLEDGE? Pretty bad, apparently! 😂 We head to Princess Live! for two quizzes. 🌍 Travel Quiz - around 12/20 🧠 General Knowledge - around 7/20 We're definitely sticking to travel! 😂 Afterwards, we head to Bellini’s for a glass of wine to take back to our stateroom while getting ready for the evening. 🌙 PART 2 IS COMING... Our sea day isn't finished! In Part 2 we'll be trying Umai Teppanyaki, heading back to Good Spirits at Sea for its cocktail demonstration and watching our first theatre show onboard Sun Princess.
