Is a Princess Cruises excursion in Mykonos worth the money? 🇬🇷🚢 Join us on Sun Princess for Elia Beach, Little Venice, the windmills and an unforgettable evening onboard! Welcome back to Cruise Travel And Explore – With Stick Man Steve! It's our final full day aboard the beautiful Sun Princess, and we're feeling a little sad that our fantastic Mediterranean cruise is nearly over. But we've got one more Greek island to explore, and what a day it turns out to be! Today, Gemma and I are taking the Princess Cruises shore excursion **“Swimming, Mykonos Island & Town for Families”**. We paid approximately €114 when booking and wanted to find out whether it was good value for money. 🇬🇷 OUR MYKONOS ADVENTURE 🏖️ ELIA BEACH – We enjoy around 2½ hours at this beautiful beach, taking photographs, soaking up the scenery and relaxing with a couple of Greek beers at a beachfront restaurant. At around €5 each, we thought the beers were reasonably priced for the location! ⛪ ANO MERA – Our next stop is this lovely traditional village, where we explore the Monastery of Tourliani before enjoying a fantastic three-course Greek meal at Vardaris Tavern, with wine and water included in our excursion. 🏘️ MYKONOS OLD TOWN – We follow our knowledgeable local guide through the narrow, winding streets, passing the colourful waterfront at Little Venice before reaching the famous Mykonos windmills. The views are absolutely beautiful! 🚢 BACK ON SUN PRINCESS After returning to the ship, it's a quick change before our 8pm reservation at Love by Britto. ❤️ LOVE BY BRITTO – What an incredible experience! This colourful, romantic speciality restaurant was one of our absolute favourites. The food was wonderful, but the service really made the evening special. We felt thoroughly spoilt! 🎭 FIERA! – We finish our evening with a spectacular production in the Princess Arena. The costumes, music, dancing and staging were fantastic. Filming wasn't permitted, but we've included some photographs from the show. ⭐ WAS THE MYKONOS EXCURSION WORTH IT? For us, absolutely! Although Princess Cruises excursions can be expensive, we felt this particular tour offered excellent value compared with other excursions we've taken. We loved the combination of beach time, traditional Greek food, local history and exploring Mykonos Old Town. 💡 OUR TRAVEL TIPS • Take comfortable walking shoes for Mykonos Old Town. • Bring your camera – Little Venice and the windmills are beautiful. • Consider following the local guide through the winding streets. • Allow time to get ready if you've booked an evening restaurant. • Don't miss the live shows aboard Sun Princess!
