What is Sun Princess nightlife really like? 🚢🎧 We dine at The Catch by Rudi, join the brilliant Silent Disco and discover an incredible atmosphere at O'Malley's Irish Pub! Our first sea day might be ending, but one of our favourite nights of the entire cruise is only just beginning! 🍽️🍸 Welcome back to our first ever Princess Cruises holiday onboard Sun Princess! This is Part 2 of our first sea day. After spending the day exploring the ship, we're back in Inside Stateroom 14422 on Deck 14 with a glass of wine from Bellini's before getting ready for another night onboard. 🍷😂 Tonight we're trying somewhere we've really been looking forward to... 🐟 THE CATCH BY RUDI Located on Deck 7, The Catch by Rudi is one of Sun Princess speciality dining restaurants. What can we say? We absolutely LOVED it. ❤️ The food, presentation, staff and service were incredible from start to finish. For us, this was one of the best Mediterranean-style restaurant experiences we've ever had. We're travelling with the Princess Premier Package, which has allowed us to experience speciality restaurants we might otherwise think twice about because of the additional cost. If you love good food and premium drinks, we're certainly finding plenty of value in Premier! 🎧 SUN PRINCESS SILENT DISCO! After dinner it was time for something Gemma and I absolutely love... A SILENT DISCO! 😂💃 We collected our headphones in The Piazza and could switch between three different music channels - red, green and blue. If you've never tried a Silent Disco, it can feel slightly strange at first! But give it time. Once everyone relaxes, people are singing and dancing to completely different songs and the atmosphere becomes brilliant. 😂 The Silent Disco only happened once during our seven-night cruise, so if you see it listed in your entertainment schedule, we'd definitely recommend giving it a go! 🍺 O'MALLEY'S IRISH PUB Next we headed to what has become our favourite bar onboard Sun Princess - O'Malley's Irish Pub. The two live Irish singers were fantastic. You could see how much they loved performing and their energy was infectious. Then some passengers got up and started Irish dancing! ☘️ What an atmosphere! Thankfully, I managed to capture it on camera so you can experience the night with us. 🎶 ONE FINAL STOP... Around midnight we headed back to The Piazza, where the DJ was still playing. While editing this footage almost a year later, hearing Dolly Parton's 9 to 5 unexpectedly became quite an emotional moment following the sad news of her death. ❤️ Then it was finally time for bed! Tomorrow we're arriving in Chania, Crete, where we've independently booked a White Mountains Jeep Safari with Shore Excursions Group - our first ever excursion with them.
