🌞 Good morning, everyone! It’s Stickman Steve here, and welcome to the final vlog of our 8-night stay at the incredible St George Hotel Spa & Beach Resort in Chlorakas, Paphos, Cyprus. This is Vlog 11, and today we’re sharing our last day adventures – from a morning hotel tour, relaxing breakfast, and our favourite Sunset Beach Bar chill time, to a trip to the local supermarket, a farewell visit to the Sapphire Bar & Diner, and packing for our flight back home. We arrived in Paphos with Jet2 Holidays, flying from Manchester Airport, and stayed on All Inclusive Plus at this stunning adults-only resort. We’ve loved documenting this series for all of you — whether you’re thinking about visiting, have already booked, or are curious about the hotel and local area. After that, Gemma and I enjoyed a delicious breakfast at THEA Buffet Dinner Restaurant, followed by strong espresso coffees at the Boulevard Cafe Bar. The weather was perfect for our favourite hotel spot, the Sunset Beach Bar, where we soaked up the warm sun, gentle sea breeze, and soft house music while enjoying a couple of cocktails. It’s honestly the perfect place to relax and reflect on the holiday. 🍹🌊 Next, we walked a short 5 minutes to the local supermarket to pick up fridge magnets for ourselves and Gemma’s mum — a little holiday tradition of ours. Every magnet is a small memory of the amazing places we’ve visited over the years, reminding us of how lucky we are to be able to travel and share these experiences with you. ✨ We also made a stop at the Sapphire Bar & Diner Paphos to say goodbye to Chris and Vicky, the wonderful owners. Chris, known for his Elvis performances and DJ work, and Vicky welcomed us warmly when we first visited the bar on day two. It was lovely to say farewell, and I filmed a little tour so you can see the friendly, vibrant atmosphere of this local gem. Next door, you’ll also find Studio 54, a retro underground disco if you fancy late-night fun while in Paphos. 🎶🍸 Back at the hotel, it was time to pack and prepare for our late check-out. Paying €80 for a late check-out allowed us to stay until 6pm, which we absolutely recommend to make the most of your final day. Don’t forget to register at reception a couple of days before your departure — availability isn’t guaranteed, but it’s worth asking! For dinner, we opted for THEA - Live Cooking Buffet Dinner Restaurant as packing ran late. A perfect ending to an unforgettable stay. Our flight back to Manchester was delayed by almost three hours, and we decided to pay €30 each for the Paphos Airport premium lounge. It was small and seats were firm, but the self-service drinks and snacks kept us going after an incredible 8 days. ✈️ We finally made it home to Blackpool at 6:30am, completely exhausted but full of memories. This marks the end of our St George Hotel Spa & Beach Resort series, and while we’re sad it’s over, we’re incredibly grateful for the experience and your support.
