Flying into Orlando (MCO) the day before a Port Canaveral cruise? I usually recommend going ahead to Cocoa Beach or Cape Canaveral unless your flight gets in really late. That way, you can wake up near the cruise port, avoid an extra hour of transportation on embarkation morning, and actually enjoy the coast before your cruise. Some of my favorite pre-cruise hotel options include Hilton Cocoa Beach Oceanfront, Hampton Inn Cocoa Beach, Best Western Cocoa Beach, Radisson Resort at the Port, Country Inn & Suites Port Canaveral, and Four Points by Sheraton Cocoa Beach. If you land very late, staying near Orlando International Airport can make more sense. And if you arrive two days early, you have more flexibility to enjoy Orlando first.
