I’ve wanted to see Niagara Falls for years. This was amazing!

Seeing Niagara Falls for the first time after wanting to go for 12 years was absolutely worth it. I used my one full free day during a Toronto trip to visit Niagara Falls on the Canadian side, and the first view of Horseshoe Falls was one of those travel moments that really does feel different in person. The amount of water, the sound and the mist are hard to understand from photos and videos alone. I spent time around the Table Rock area looking at Horseshoe Falls and the American Falls, and later took Hornblower cruises right up toward the Falls. If you’re planning a Niagara Falls day trip from Toronto, this is one place I would absolutely make time for.
