This Ship Scores Just 2.8 out of 5 on Cruise Critic… So Why Did We Love It?
MSC Virtuosa has some mixed reviews, including a surprisingly low 2.8 rating on Cruise Critic. So, after 10 years of cruising with other cruise lines, were we right to be nervous about trying MSC Cruises for the first time? Our week-long MSC Virtuosa cruise around Norway got off to the worst possible start, with our worst embarkation experience ever and a 2½-hour queue just to get into the terminal. We were already wondering whether all the warnings we'd heard about MSC were justified. But did things get better once we were on board? In this full MSC Virtuosa cruise ship review, we share our honest experience of sailing on a fully occupied ship during the main school summer holidays. We look at what we loved, what disappointed us, and whether we'd book another MSC cruise.
